German Cold War 10×50 Zeiss Periscope with Original Metal Tripod

This is an Authentic German 10×50 Zeiss Periscope used for Cold War-era observation along the Berlin Wall. Known as the Richtungsweiser-Doppelfernrohr 10×50, it was crafted between 1956-1958 in former West Germany by Carl Zeiss Oberkochen, the renowned optics pioneer credited with first implementing multi-coated lenses for providing superior clarity. The periscope was originally mounted on armored reconnaissance vehicles while the tripod version is believed to have been used in watch towers and other locations in the vicinity of the Berlin Wall and along the Inner German border.

Each of our binoculars takes several months to a year to complete a full restoration. Our restoration process includes calibration of optics, hand-polishing of hundreds of intricate parts, and extensive testing that ensures perfect performance for decades.
